DITR Juan Arrojo
Following the all star break the youngest player in the 42's system made a leap from borderline ML setup man to a bonafide stopper who will be locking down the 7th or 8th innings a few years from now. Juan Arrojo was signed out of Honduras earlier in the season. He showed promise but had what stam/dur combo that would probably have kept him out of the majors. Following his jump his combo was projecting to 40/19, which will probably get him about 40-50 innings a year. Our scouts are now projecting Arrojo to be elite (90+) versus lefties and righties. Arrojo will throw his fastball over 96 mph and combine that with a devestating slider to really shut down opposing teams, all the while keeping everything down and inducing many ground balls.
